You are here

For You, With Love & Thanks

Ahhh..Tulips.jpg

If I could send all of you a bouquet and a Thank You note for putting up with all my worrying and crying about the “Santa's Team” rescue, I would. I really appreciate all the support you all give me. I am completely undeserving and humbled. I'm just a regular “schmoe” just trying to make a difference in a few cats lives. You make me feel like a shiny star.

Along the way, I had no idea I'd find there are so many caring and compassionate people out there who are generous and willing to share their heart and affection with me. I am so honored.

Spring is finally here and they gray days of winter along with those winter blues are fading into memory. While this will be the rescue I never forget-the one that never seemed to end and tested me in ways I never expected, it will be the foundation for making me do a better job rescuing and rehabilitating cats in need.

It's time to move forward. We have a lot more work to do. “Kitten Season” is here and I need to get ready. There are more stories waiting to become part of Covered in Cat Hair history and I hope you'll come along for the ride.

So thank you, very much, to everyone for making what I do so very worthwhile.

You ARE a shining star! Give yourself more credit! :)

Also that picture of the kitty sniffing the flower is gorgeous!!

That little turd, errr...cat, is my boy, Spencer. :-)

You help those who are helpless. We help them express how grateful they are to you, even if they can't understand death or compassion. You were there everything. You reach out to us, and hopefully we can put a little human social appreciation around their little pink tongues, fluffy butts, and beeseching looks as you clean their poop up for the millionth time.

Love,
James

You're somethin' special, James, but you know that.

Much love right back atcha!

I know kitten season is tough on all the shining stars like you... but us blog-hoppers LOVE all the CUTE pictures that come with it. Bring on the kittens! :)

Too true, you are a shining star... I am filled with admiration for what you have done for those cats. I have also been anxious for you, as you had such a hard few months (and also Sam!).
But it's obvious to anyone who takes time to read your blog, that you are a special human being. Give yourself a big pat on the back for all you have achieved - and a big holiday before your next Foster! You know you need a break!
Love xx
