A Few of My Favorite Things

Interests: CatZ! I have 9 of them - every life should have 9 catZ, right? Oh, and 1 big-o dog, my first in many years, adopted a couple of years ago when I turned 50 and lost my mind!
Movies and Television: Avalon is a favorite movie, as is Office Space and Pulp Fiction. I can go from one extreme to the other. I love the shows on FX Network, like Rescue Me, Damages, and now Sons of Anarchy. Also enjoy 30 Rock and The Office, plus many, many more!
Yes, I Read, Too!: Ah, it's mostly what I call 'throw away reading' because it's magazines, and newspapers, though that's even less than it used to be because I read my newspaper online most of the time anymore. I did recently read Common Sense, by Glenn Beck and enjoyed it very much because it is in fact common sense!
The Sound of Music: Again, from one extreme to the other, I like Bonnie Raitt; John Mayer; Al Green; U2; Big and Rich; James Taylor; Marvin Gaye; Toby Keith; Beyonce; and on and on.

My Cats

Kin K. Star is THE KinKStar, my KinKy is a tuxedo cat who has been with me over 17 years; Baby Boo is all white and now 10; Squeakin' Girl or SqueaKy, a tabby cat with a broken tail, is probably as old or older than KinK, but she's only been with me about 10 years; D.S.Oreo is another tuxedo kitty, now about 8 years old, he's my Double Stuffed cookie; Kittie Bob is a Pixie Bob with a stubby tail, extra toes on his front feet and diagnosed FIV+ about 5 years ago, but healthy and happy so far; Sugar Baby is another all white cat, about 5 years old and skinny; Hemingway is a black cat about 7 years old, with a white belly and toes - including his extra ones, and he's very overweight, but we're working on it; Toby was brought to the shelter with Hemi as his housemate, and I couldn't leave him, he's about 5 and black too, with white markings on his face, belly, and toes; and finally there's Cheetoes, a big orange cat who has a long body, fuzzy tail and extra toes on all of his feet.

By the way, the dog - JaZZy, is about 2 years old now, and was supposedly a Boxer mix, though she weights 67 pounds and the only thing Boxer about her is her white foot!

Oh, yes and The Cat House on The Kings is one of my most favorite rescue locations and/or groups!
