A Few of My Favorite Things

Interests

animals, painting, cooking,
I love all animals, and being a wife and mother with 3 children, we have had many different animals to love.
I also paint, and am taking a water color class now that i am retired and have more time to do things i enjoy.
I also like doing all crafts, and manage to try every new thing that becomes popular. I love to cook, you might call
it gourmet cooking, i call it fun to create something delicious. I also love to read and manage to read novels in between the other activities. And last but not least I am a movie nut, my husband and i can watch two movies
in an evening, and consider it the most fun.

About My Cats

My Cats

My boys as i like to call them, are sweet and lovable. I first adopted Marmalade from the shelter here in Tampa. He
is a Tabby with big green eyes. I really believe there is a human inside him and have wonderful talks with him while he watches me cook. The second boy was adopted about two years after Marmalade, because I felt company was something needed to keep my pictures on the wall from hanging sideways after Marm jumped up the wall while we were out and found other things to drive me crazy. We adopted Shadow from a Pet Smart store. He is almost all black, but has a white belly and white along his legs, he also has big green eyes. He is shy and doesn't really like human contact. But he loves his big brother, and they hug kiss clean each other and sometimes sleep snuggled together. The third boy, became part of our family quite by accident. He is a mixed breed, who has had his teeth removed because of a problem, so his tongue hangs out making him look drunk.
I have often thought of writing a story about Buddy, because it is a story of love on both our parts. He belonged to a family two doors down, and has been a part of our family for two years now. I truly believe a higher power saw to it that I was to meet him on that very hot July day. And that he will live longer, and die happier because we did meet. Marmalade Shadow and Buddy all get along, eat together and share time together.
