I'm pretty dorky: I have 5 cats and a ferret, I read a lot, cook and bake and love spending time with my friends. I want to learn more about photography. You may have already guessed that I foster kittens for one of the local humane societies.

I have mad love for The Office, Dexter, Weeds, True Blood and In Treatment.

Yes, I Read, Too!

History by Alison Weir, The Toms (Robbins and Wolfe), John Irving, The Life of Pi, Middlesex...it goes on, but you've probably already stopped paying attention. I'm also into historical biographies, most recently those on Mary Todd Lincoln.

The Sound of Music

Ryan Adams, Ray LaMontagne, Over the Rhine, Hem, Fleet Foxes, contemporary Irish...and let's not forget the classic pop and rock songs (Styx, anybody?).

About My Cats

My Cats: I currently have 5, and all were shelter cats. The only cat I've ever had that wasn't from a shelter was one I rescued from a barn. They're all individuals and they are family to me; I'm fairly certain they consider me family, too.
